Man Jailed, Accused Of Not Paying For Livestock

ABC13 reports a many in Katy, Texas is in jail for allegedly never paying for over 250 livestock purchased at an auction.

On May 24, detectives say Darko Arbutina, 40, allegedly failed to make payments for sheep and goat purchased from Hamilton Commission Co. The livestock are valued at over $14,700. Arbutina is held on charges of livestock theft, a third-degree felony, he is on probation for felony aggravated assault.

If guilty, Arbutina could face up to 10 years in prison and/or a $10,000 fine.
