TSCRA: Reklaw Man Sentenced To 14 Years For Cattle Theft

A Reklaw man was sentenced to 14 years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) for the theft of 14 head of cattle on two different occasions in Cherokee County. Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association (TSCRA) Special Ranger Jimmy Dickson and the Cherokee County Sheriff's Department investigated the cases.

A Harrison County man was arrested Thursday by a Harrison County Sheriff's Office investigator on felony theft and insurance fraud charges. Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association (TSCRA) Special Ranger Larry Hand coordinated the investigation between various agencies.
